The Dell XPS 14z features a 14-inch screen in a 13.3-inch notebook. Its measurement is only .9 mm, which makes it one of the thinnest full-featured laptop around.
The case is made magnesium aluminum alloy (like Macbook Pro) and it features a slot-loading optical drive. The chicklet-style keyboard is backlit and spill-proof. There’s also the presence of a “batter button,” which once pressed tells the user how much battery life remains even when the laptop is turned off. Battery life is up to six hours.
As it is a Dell laptop, the Dell XPS 14z comes with proprietary application such as back up software and access to free 2 GB online storage.
