ASUS has recently announced the G10 Gaming Desktop PC at the Pinoy Gaming Festival held at the World Trade Center Metro Manila, Pasay City.
The new Asus gaming desktop PC is powered by the latest 4th generation Intel Core i7 processors (Haswell) and NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics with 3D Vision Surround with support for up to four monitors for more immersive gaming experience.
As a gaming desktop PC, the G10 improves on its performance by having the ASUS Smart Cooling technology for cooler and quieter operation. In addition, it also has the ASUS Power Pack — a removable UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) that can also be used as a portable battery recharger for smartphones and tablets.
The G10 is one of the first desktop PCs to feature ASUS SonicMaster audio technology for enhanced sound quality.
The desktop PC is housed in a floor-standing tower case highlighted by clean, chiseled lines and a brushed metal finish, including LED light indicators that reflect the operational state of any attached external USB storage device.
The G10 is also a first when it comes to providing a very useful accessory in the form of the Power Pack. The removable battery works both as a UPS in the event of a power failure and a portable rechargeable battery for smartphones and tablets.
Power Pack will keep the PC running for 25 seconds on battery power and will automatically activate hibernate mode to prevent data loss during longer power outages.
The ASUS Smart Cooling System, on the other hand, controls fan speed automatically based for an optimum balance of cooling and noise reduction.
The PC is also designed to reduce internal dust accumulation.
There’s also the presence of a dedicated controller (ASUS EPU or energy processing unit(that optimizes overall system efficiency by monitoring the system load in real-time and adjusting power requirements accordingly.
As a plus, ASUS provides the G10 comes with a three year use of 32GB of online cloud storage through the ASUS WebStorage.
Below is the suggested retail price of the G10, which will be available in November at ASUS authorized dealers in the Philippines.
