Starmobile Muse
The future looks bright for Starmobile, which has been successfully making its brand shine brighter in the country already steeped with so many Android products.
Recently, Starmobile has unveiled new Android smartphones not only to provide consumers with more Android handheld choices for their Christmas shopping, but also to signal the company’s objective, which is to reach the 1-million units sale mark.
Starmobile product lines have now expanded to 12 more Android devices, comprising of 3 smartphones, 5 phablets to beef up the current Starmobile Diamond series and 4 tablets to complement its bestselling Engage line.
According to Starmobile president Michael Chen, the company aims to make available to Filipino consumers high quality mobile devices with prices that are within reach.
From five stores and kiosks in December 2012, the local startup has now expanded its reach to 45 stores and kiosks plus over 900 other partner resellers.
“The future is mobile. Starmobile is right on pulse and leading the charge to make high tech available to everyone,” said Chen.
Here’s a rundown on the new Starmobile smartphones, phablets, and tablets:
Starmobile Muse is a 5-inch Android Jelly Bean phone with 18-megapixel back and 8-megapixel front BSI camera combo. (BSI backside illumination sensor makes focusing clear particularly low lit subjects).
Starmobile Muse sports a wide-angle front-facing camera equipped with LED flash, hence it is perfect for capturing group selfies.
Available in white and black colors, the Muse runs on a 1.5GHz Turbo Quad Core processor and is topped with a gorgeous full HD screen. Its suggested retail price is P12,990.
Advanced mobile users upgrading to larger screens also have more phablet choices with the new additions to the Starmobile Diamond Series.
The 5-inch Diamond D1 features huge capacity 3000mAh battery, which offers up to 16 days standby time. Lightweight and light on the pocket, the Starmobile Diamond D1 keeps slim with a 10.3mm body. SRP for this phablet is P7,990.
If you want style, then opt for the Diamond S1, which features a curved edge 5-inch glass display. Its scratch-resistant Asahi Glass tapers nicely into the matte black rear cover, giving you tried-and-tested toughness in an exquisite form. It retails for only P8,990.
The Starmobile Engage Series of tablets received a makeover. Now crafted with a solid and beautiful aluminum body, the latest Engage tablets impress with sleek and speed. Leading the tablet pack is the Quad Core Engage 8 3G with high speed HSPA+ connectivity that delivers a full on tablet experience for only P9,990. The quad core WiFi-only option is also available for only P6,990.
