Asus ViVo PC
With pressure to be still relevant in a world going totally connected through smaller mobile devices, the Intel based desktop PC transformed itself anew into exciting new form factors.
Asus recently launched in the Philippines two new products the VivoPC and the M70, two desktops that sport unique designs.
The VivoPC is a very compact PC, measuring just 56 mm tall and with a footprint smaller than a sheet of A4 sized paper.
It doesn’t at all look like the “traditional” desktop PC as it comes encased in a nice metal-finish box and can fit nicely in a small home office or living room space like an accent–but of course with a computer function.
The VivoPC features ASUS SonicMaster audio technology for incredible sound quality with external speakers and high-performance 802.11ac Wi-Fi for smooth HD video streaming and seamless web browsing.
Despite its compact dimensions, VivoPC is also well-equipped when it comes to expandability. A sliding case cover gives quick access to the two internal memory slots and the drive bay can accommodate a 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch SATA 6Gbit/s hard drive.
The Asus VivoPC comes in two variations–the VivoPC VM40B, which is powered by an Intel Celeron processor, and the VivoPC VM60, which is powered by an Intel Core i3 processor.
The Celeron-run VivoPC is priced at Php16,990, while the Core i3-run VivoPC is priced at Php25,990.
Asus M70 desktop PC
The Asus M70 desktop PC features an angled tower case with polished metal finish. LED indicators reflect the operational state of any attached USB storage device. In addition, it’s fitted with a wireless charger tray for wireless recharging of smartphones and tablets, even when the M70 is shut down.
The Asus M70 desktop PC is equipped with the latest 4th generation Intel Core I processors (a choice among i3, i5, and i7) for productive multitasking and energy efficiency. This desktop can also be fitted with NVIDIA GeForce discrete graphics.
The Asus M70 desktop PC features an SRP of Php63,990.
The two products will be available in the Philippines on the second week of June. Both products come bundled with wireless Asus mouse and keyboard. The M70 comes with a complimentary Asus VX239H monitor.
