As part of the digital imaging leader’s 15th anniversary in the Philippines, Canon PIXMA is on a nationwide search for 15 young people who will become Canon’s next generation of brand ambassadors
Are you a college student with an above average academic record? Do you actively pursue extra-curricular work? Are you a team player?
If you answered “yes” to all these questions, then you can be one of Canon PIXMA’s 15 Stand Out Students.
As part of the digital imaging leader’s 15th anniversary in the Philippines, Canon PIXMA is on a nationwide search for 15 young people who will become Canon’s next generation of brand ambassadors.
Until August 31, 2012, interested college students can visit Canon PIXMA’s official Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/canonpixma.ph to apply. Entries will be judged based on the applicant’s positive impact to society, academic performance, level of participation in an organization and audience impact which will be decided by Facebook “Likes”.
So far, five lucky students have been selected as part of Canon PIXMA’s stand out crew. They are: incoming marketing senior Darius Uy from the University of Santo Tomas (UST), incoming marketing sophomore Peter Wong also from UST, incoming child education junior Bea Liongson from the De La Salle University, incoming literature masteral student Angel Yulo from the University of Asia and the Pacific and from Ateneo de Manila, incoming communication arts senior Maria Tuason.
Selected students will each receive one Canon PIXMA E500 printer and one Canon PowerShot digital camera, and will be featured in Canon’s social media and print marketing efforts.
The stand out student search coincides with Canon’s launch of multi-functional printers that complement a student’s multi-faceted lifestyle. Leading this line-up are two PIXMA ink-efficient models—E500 (Print, Scan, Copy) and E600 (Print, Scan, Copy, Fax). Both models are equipped with Canon’s proprietary printing technology, the full photo-lithography inkjet nozzle engineering (FINE) system, which allows printers to produce high image quality outputs at faster print speeds. The E500 and the E600 are also armed with Chromalife 100 for photo longevity of up to 100 years.
Ideal for the busy back-to-school season, the E500 and E600 offer creative features to help students stay competitive in a digitally driven arena. Both printers come with the Full HD Movie printing feature which allows users to print stills from an HD movie project. Fun filter effects are also available for more realistic and well-defined arts and crafts.
