More screen to write on with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1

It has apps like Adobe and S Pen, making it the perfect tablet for creating content

Samsung has announced the availability in the Philippines of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, a tablet running on Android ICS (Android 4.04) that features a stylus that can be used for writing as well as screen capture.
It is the big brother of the popular 5.3-inch Samsung Galaxy Note, released last year, but packed with a quad core mobile processor (1.4 GHz Quad Core processor plus 2GB RAM) and a 10.1-inch display and other useful features. (By the way, at the IFA trade show in Germany, Samsung already announced an improved version of the Galaxy Note.)
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 looks a lot like the Galaxy Tab 10.1 except for the stylus and the application S Note. With these two distinguish features, users can extend the function of the tablet beyond consuming content only, but creating content as well.

Multiscreen and drag function allows you to work on two apps at the same time, screen capture an image from one window and drag it into the other window

At the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 in Aracama restaurant at The Fort, people in the fashion and design industry demonstrated the usefulness of the device to their work. Creative people like to draw their ideas and with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1—it is now easier for them to share and collaborate with others the ideas or drawing they’ve done.
Another key feature of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is the multiscreen and drag functions. You can split the screen into two to allow two functions at the same time. This is particularly useful to a designer. He or she could have taken a photo of a type of sofa a customer wants, make notes on the details that needed to be changed, and then search the Internet on pattern or material to use. As demonstrated during the launch, a pattern searched on the Internet was easily captured and even cropped and then dragged onto the S Note to become part of the idea/drawing process.
If you are a student doing a research report, it’s easy to capture and drag the materials you’ve looked into in the Internet onto your research notes.

Coco Domingo of Samsung said the Galaxy Note 10.1 is intended for content creation more than content consumption, a key differentiation of the this tablet from the Galaxy Tab.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 offers both the power and portability of a notebook PC married with the creative tools used by most digital artists, according to Samsung officials.

Improved handwriting experience

There are other good features and mind you, some of them are also found in the Samsung Galaxy S3. For example, Pop Play lets you watch videos while doing other tasks on your tablet.
Smart Stay guarantees that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 won’t go to sleep as long as it senses that your eyes are still on its screen.
The accompanying stylus is called the S-PEN, which is light and thin, pressure sensitive and pinpoint accurate, giving you the feel and ease of a regular pen. It comes with a rubber tip which gives you a natural writing experience much like a regular pen and paper.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 comes equipped with Adobe Photoshop Touch. There’s also access to 50 GB online storage at Drop Box.
Suggested retail price of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is P32,990.

It’s a Wi-fi and 3G device (there’s a Wi-fi version too) and a darn pretty looking tablet
