Intel Atom powered Zenfone 5 gets updated to Android Kitkat 4.4.
ASUS Zenfone 5 gets the Kitkat update as seen in the photo above. The update doesn’t only cover the affordable Zenfone 5, but all Zenfone models. This new Android version update enhances the ZenUI by adding new features and also few bug fixes on the ASUS flagship smartphone. The Zenfone with KitKat Android OS makes it a more powerful device for all in a very affordable price.
ZenUI update highlights with the Android 4.4 KitKat include the following:
New functions such as:
o Do Not Disturb mode
o Reply via Call-in SIM card, system will auto select the right phone number via the call. (applies to dual SIM models only)
o Full dual standby with two SIM cards
(applies to dual SIM models only)
o Filter effects for videos
o When in sleep mode, double tab to wake up the screen. When device is locked, double tab the lock screen to turn off the screen.
