The new Canon 650D DSLR is the ideal camera for photography novices or the camera-savvy users as it is already capable of delivering high quality photographs.
The EOS 650D is an entry level DSLR camera fitted with the new intuitive three inch vari-angle clear view LCD II touch screen monitor, which makes commonly used adjustments or controls such as exposure and shutter speed conveniently accessible on the screen. This makes photography a breeze for users of all levels of proficiency, particularly entry-level photographers.
The EOS 650D is equipped with an APS-C (22.3 x 14.9 mm) 18-megapixel CMOS sensor and powered by the new DIGIC 5 image processor, which enhances the image processing speed (6 times faster than Digic 4 image processor) and reduces noise to produce sharp and fine quality images.
It also guarantees to delivers high-speed, continuous shooting capabilities of up to 5.0 frames per second with ISO speeds of up to ISO sensitivity 12,800.
The EOS 650D dynamic ISO sensitivity is capable from Auto, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 3200, 6400 up to 12800, which can be further stretched to 25600 ISO sensitivity, providing the user the capability to capture sharp image under various lighting conditions, from night shots to brightly lit daylight scenarios.
This camera is capable or recording Full HD videos at 1080 pixels (30, 25, 24 fps), 720 pixels (60, 50 fps) and 480 pixels (60, 50 fps) with H.264 and motion jpeg as standard formats in stereo sounds.
While it is an entry-level camera, the EOS 650D packs a punch with advanced software designed to deliver professional-quality photos.
Its auto-focus (AF) system is backed by the Hybrid CMOS AF System, which dramatically increases AF speeds while keeping the subject in focus on live view and movie shooting modes.
The EOS Scene Detection Technology has also been improved so that it will automatically determine the right exposure settings depending on the situation.
The new EOS 650D camera body is now available in the Philippines with a suggested retail price of P41, 998. It is also available with kit lens (EF 18-55IS II) for P46,998.
