Huawei Ascend Y200 is a new pocket-friendly Android smartphone that already features Android Gingerbread 2.3 OS and a 3.5-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen plus a 3.2 MP camera. With a suggested retail price of only P5,490, the Huawei Ascend Y200 already features a 3.5 inch IPS display screen that can be found in high-end smart phones, PC monitors, and LCD TVs.

Under the hood, Huawei Ascend Y200 is powered by Qualcomm MSM7225A, 800 MHz processor with 3D graphics performance and a long-lasting 1,250mAh battery.

Huawei as a brand is mostly known in the country for USB Wi-Fi dongle and pocket Wi-Fi products as the Chinese company is an OEM that supplies generic consumer products to telcos. Lately, the company has also been getting serious into the consumer electronics space by producing its own brand of tablets and smartphones.

Huawei Ascend Y200 is a member of the Ascend family – Huawei’s strong portfolio of best-in-class smartphones, which includes the Huawei Honor.
